Presentation and Social

January 18 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

EVENT: SYC Clubhouse January 18th, 7PM
British Columbia has some of the most spectacular and pristine cruising grounds in Canada. Marine Parks, safe anchorages and uncluttered waterways contribute to the enjoyment and safety of recreating in our waters. Having a strong collective voice and social cohesion among boaters helps protect these cruising grounds for future generations.
The BC Council of Yacht Clubs has become that voice representing the interests of recreational boaters, since 1980. Through a variety of initiatives including; review and input into water use applications, boating regulations, identification of anchorages and safe havens and the acquisition and enhancement of Marine Parks, it contributes to the enjoyment for all.
Come join us for an evening with Council directors, Phil Aldrich and Steve Mac Donald that will both inform and expand your horizons for the upcoming boating season.
Thursday, January 18th. Doors open at 7:00, and the presentation will start at 7:30. Social to follow with a cash bar.
